Web Design

Happy Chap Clothing Website

Happy Chap Clothing is an independent clothing company set up by Ray Mfon. He came to me in 2012 to set up the first Happy Chap website so the brand could extend further than Canterbury, where he was studying at the time.

After Ed Sheeran wore a Happy Chap tee at V Festival in 2012, interest in the brand skyrocketed, bringing a lot of traffic to the site. Happy Chap’s original website was my first big project, so to revisit and redesign the site was great for me. It gave me the opportunity to see how far I have developed as a designer.

This is a brand I really love working with and look forward to continually working on in the future.

Happy Chap’s most recent LookBook shot’s were clean and bright which really made the website stand out amongst its competitors.

The original site wasn’t responsive, this was a huge issue especially given that the majority of online traffic was coming through mobile and tablet devices. This website is now fully responsive meaning that users on any platform or device can navigate and purchase through the website seamlessly.

“I’ve known Steve over 4 years now and and as well as being highly skilled at what he does and a great person to work with, he’s undoubtedly become someone I can geniunley call a friend. A thousand thank you’s for all you’ve done for me and Happy Chap. It’s always an absolute pleasure working with you and I look forward to continue working with you in the near future.
